If it`s cheap anyone`s after you could always get one of these.

I use something similar for drivetrain maintenance, it's fine if all you want is to get the back wheel off the floor. Rubbish for any heavy duty work.
Think of it as a display stand that allows you to do some maintenance.

I've had one of these for a couple of years now - really solid, height adjustable and folds down to a pretty small size......

Ribble are knocking them out at £53, on CRC they are £119 at the moment!

One of the most useful bits of kit I ever bought, especially when working on indexing or even just cleaning.

I got one like that draper one from halfords for a tenner. it's fine for everyday jobs, not that stable though. But fine for setting up gears cleaning and lubing. I'll get a proper one when I finally get a new frame.

I have one of those cheap Draper ones.

It's good enough to keep the bike standing with or without the rear wheel in.

Good enough for sitting down and cleaning the bike and doing minor repairs when you need both hands and can't hold the bike up yourself.

    Cheap and cheerful.

I use the Park PCS9. A good solid stand which I bought after years of hanging the bike on things, using an old turbo stand etc. Wish I'd bought the workstand years ago: it just makes everything easy. It's quite expensive for what it is (though much more solid & robust than I was expecting it to be) but I figured hell I'll only ever buy one in my lifetime...
