Hello all
Thinking about entering my first enduro or a xc race next year.
Don't know where to start with regards a training plan or how to enter a event.
Been riding xc for about 2 hours more or less every weekend and a couple of nights during the week.
cheers

Keep on doing that, and you'll find your fitness levels will shoot through the roof. Nearer the event i'd start to increase your riding time to about 3hrs depending on what enduro you want to do. (Ive never read a training guide and ended up finishing 10th in my category in Ruthin Merida Marathon).Giant XTC SE 2006
Cube LTD Race 2009
Trek Fuel EX 90 -
Ride as hard as you can as often as you can. Work out what events you want to enter and tailor your rides to match the duration, then get very good at pushing yourself until you taste blood and can hardly see for that length of time.

id recommend the merida marathons, now chainreation marathons. the old website had some training plans and loads of other useful info. the crc website is being worked on at the mo (tried to get on earlier)
it does however have dates and locations, just keep checking it. here's the link

There are some articles on my website which may be of interest to you....hope you find them useful. The best piece of advice I can give you is enjoy it, look out for your fellow riders and bring your sense of humour

Take a look at my racing calendar too as I tend to go for the enduro/challenge events which you seem to be looking for.
