Especially those that shop for a living. Spent this afternoon battling with the crowds in Brizzle doing the christmas shopping thing, as my arms were weighed down my bank balance got lighter :( . The nightmare isn't over yet, although I've done all the shopping I've still got to wrap the pressies and that influenced my choice of present. Will it be easy to wrap?
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

I vaguely recall wrapping presents was made enjoyable by the occasional glass of something 'spiritual'. That was a few years ago as I no longer buy presents.

    Have fun! :)

    +1

I have one rule for Christmas shopping - if I can't get it online then they ain't getting it.

When the nieces/nephews totalled more than 6* I cancelled presents in December and now remember their birthdays. My mum gets Mothers Day and birthday gifts, siblings/friends get phones calls and/or the occasional gift.

There is a recession on you know, besides I have bike stuff to buy  :D

I have done no christmas shopping this year due to no time (work :() so I sent my man out to do it for me. Now all done. He can shop better than any woman I have come across.

Probably the same way as me - agree with family that it's pointless asking someone what they want then buying it - where's the surprise? So miss out the middle man, everyone buys something for themselves and the world is a happier place

    Kids are different, however.

And I've not got my wife's pressie yet, though she's got a list as long as your arm and anything from that will be much appreciated. Her B'day is in Dec and we went away to Disney land Paris so that was super smashing great.

It's just a hill. Get over it.

Sat down last night to wrap them all that I bought yesterday which I managed but remembered an earlier purchsed pressie when I heard the carrier bag it was in rustle and realised that I've run out of wrapping paper :(
