Putting together a winter hack and i have load of old bits kicking around the garage. Question is how trustworthy is an old alloy stem and bars? Must be around 15 years old.

Much more trustworthy than steel ones.

No dings or cracks and i used them around 2 years ago with no problems. Just worried about scare stories regarding alloy metal fatigue. Live in the pennines so tend to put a bit of pressure on the bars when riding.0
