ive got an opportunity to buy an 07 Kona Kikapu Deluxe for about £400. i was thinking i could use the frame and swap over my components from my fury, do you think it will be a good upgrade?
ive read some reviews and they all say its a great frame but fairly heavy componentry but my fury stuff will lighten it up a bit especially as ive upgraded most of the furys components.
also wanted to know what sort of fork size i could get away with? ive seen most with 100mm but i will be putting a tora 318 u-turn on for now till i get a better fork but will i be able to have it at 120?
thank in advance
EDIT: i remember someone else getting this frame but i really couldnt find it! the search function is useless :? or maybe its just me

It should be fine with 120mm forks, and then you could sell the parts for some extra cash. I would go for it.And now you know, and knowing is half the battle

cheers! yer thats what I was planning...gain some money back by selling the parts and end up with a fairly decent frame for not too much.
anyway with the Tora on i can fiddle around with the amount of travel and see what works good.0
