This is my "do everything bike" I've owned it from new so I've had it for about 3 years now and in that time its evolved into what it is now. Its put on a few pounds and now weighs in at 31lb which is still light enough to be ridden all day. Ive just put on some bigger discs to give it more brakeing power and recent additions are the chainring protector (sick of knocking teeth off expensive rings) and the dropper post. Its not pretty but I love it and it can handle most situations. The next upgrade will be a longer fork, it has 150mm travel at the back so I reckon it will handle the same at the front (head angle is relativly steep so it shoudn't knacker the steering too much)

great bike. i like the gold touches, not too much but it looks nice against the colour of the frame
  • hi Ravey,

nice bike! specced out really well.

    techy question :?:

what length steerer does this frame need?

i've got hold of a rock springs 06 frame but until it arrives i'm not sure what (fleabay) 140 forks will fit.

Hi thanks, it's not a flashy or even good looking frame but it rides really really well. I'm away on holiday at the moment but I'll measure it fir you when I get back. Mine is q medium (17.5inch) frame by the way.

I used to have one of those - fantastic to ride, always an odd-looking design but one that proves itself over and over again... nice
