This is tasty, and probably "healthy" but here goes...
Take a thick crust of bread, Flora it, and spread with thick strawberry jam.
Put a full uncut banana in it, and roll it up like a spliff, sorry, hotdog.
Could be called a Jamnana or Banjama sandwich. Mmmmm......
Eat and repeat if other crust still available!

    Steakbakes from Greggs

I genuinely believe they are laced with crack cocaine! I can't pass Greggs without buying one.

A "good" curry. I'm a sucker for a good curry. Had a bit of a binge a few weeks back where a curry and a few Kingfishers would be the order of the day; Friday.
More remarkable was I still managedto remain sub 70KGs throughout.

Also, if I know I'm going to be late in from work on a night (9:45pm plus) I have pre-ordered a thin and crispy Papa Johns pizza online in advance a few times. So much nicer than a "chippy" pizza, Pizza Hut or Dominos pizza but I still feel rather bit guilty afterwards (frozen pizza bases in the freezer and a can of Waitrose's sardine fillets in the cupboard).

The Raj, Burrow Street (just off Ocean Road but worth the effort to find) or perhaps Indigo on Ocean Road itself.. The latter is more contemporary but has a superb range of fish and duck dishes. The Machli Dupiaza is a personal favourite.

definitely not up for contemporary, but could fancy trying the Machli Dupiaza. Long time since I've been out in Shields, not the easiest place to get to from Wallsend

heard good reports about the chip shop, Colemans

For me it tends to be chocolate, of any kind, but I'll also occasionally have a huge bowl of ice-cream on top of a pile of crushed chocolate digestives. Those are my two treats.

Very rarely drink these days and never been much of a fan of junk food.

Right now I'm having fried egg on toast.
  • Doesn't anyone like cheese? My greatest downfall. Once I have a nibble then I need a glass of wine (or 6).

Tis ok, but can't say I'd miss it if it wasn't around. When i do have it, it tends to be melted, like on toast or in an omlette.
  • I absolutely love Wensleydale and Cranberry cheese. I've only recently bought it from Morrisons. Yum Yum.

I'm not too keen on the White Stilton, apricot and amaretto.
