Amazing what you stumble upon when you're aimlessly bimbling around t'interweb on a Friday evening... 8)

For anyone who's interested, there's an official leaflet and map for the new Gisburn Forest bike trails available on the Forestry Commission website.

Must've been published pretty recently. Does that mean my map finally bites the dust?

Note that the leaflet says the nearest A & E is Burnley. not anymore it ain't. urgent care centre only. Nearest full A & E is probably Blackburn.
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result

Well, I bumped into them when they were taking the photos for it back in July, but hadn't heard that it had actually been published. Still, what do I know, I am but a humble trail builder...

Airedale's probably closer, although given the remoteness of either I'd say finishing the victim off, burying the body and breaking the bike up for spares would be the easier option.
