stolen bikes messaging system between cycle shops

Hi, can anyone help me to find out if there is a messaging system which enables all the cycle shops to pass on info about stolen bikes etc.
It would be great if I could send just one message which would then be passed to every shop on the basis that even after a time period a stolen bike which may need servicing or repairs could be identified.
I am offering a reward to find my son's Cadex Carbon MTB which was stolen about 8 years ago.
