Christened my bike on the canal this morning was great, can't wait to take it to its limit.

    in fact i would take em all off. they get in the way and are useless bits of plastic. bike companies have to sell all bikes by law (i think) with a bell and reflectors.

    it is quite amuzing when you spend thousands on a bike. then get it and its been pimped up with some shiny plastic things. * i think they could be classed s packaging. *

    true. i should kept mine. put a reflector and bell on a big gold chain and where it around my neck like 50cent. :lol::lol:

    that is too bad. feel very sorry for you. i would hate it if someone stole my bike. Was it from your house or locked up somewhere?

    It was locked up at college, also a Harrow valued around £1000 got nicked as well. They discarded the locks nearby and it was obvious they had used some bolt cutters. I'm getting a Carrera Kraken as a replacement this time its staying with me at all times so it'll be in the class room that I study in.

    Ouch, I take it you didn't have it insured? Might be worth doing on the Kraken, what sort of lock were you using just out of interest?

    Planet Bike Quick Stop RS Cable Lock.

    The one on the Harrow was twice as thick so they must of had a hefty pair of cutters.

    I'm not getting a cable lock again, I'm going to get a kryptonite D lock and a chain with padlock, maybe some mini locks for the disc brakes.
