Rims are going to be Cadence Road and spokes CX-Ray?

    Oooh, PMP!

I have some DTs and they are grand but, well, PMP!

Unless you can stretch to Extralights...

Apologies for hijacking the thread. But can somebody explain what advantages I could expect with some of the more expensive huibs, eg PMP, Hope, Chris King etc, than I could with say Ultegra hubs. Am puting together some new wheels based on Excellight rims.

Nowt wrong with Ultegra hubs though!

Thank you sir! They'll be my winter wheels, so weight not that much of an issue.

PMP have a good rep and are very smooth.

If you're a weenie though, they are a tad heavier than other hubs. Heavier than DT and more still than Tune. They are in the same league as DA, Hope, Royce and CK basically.
