I don't suppose anyone knows the frame weight of a Carrera Kracken 2009. I fancy treating myself to a new frame but if there's only a few grammes in it, I won't bother.... Thankyou!

My 16" Kraken frame is 1435g with no paint as just about to be resprayed! Your lucky day!

Is that the 09 frame? it's different from 08, based on (if not the same as) the 08 Fury.

I think the new one's most likely a little heavier, it's also a little more heavily built though. Still going to be pretty light though, I was surprised when I broke mine up. Strange to have a light frame and attach TYRES THAT WEIGH A ****ING KILOGRAM EACH to it really  Got vague plans to rigidise my old frame some time.

My Frame came from the bottom of a ditch, most of the rest was trashed, but frame was good, so custom paint job and build to a spec I want. And the tyres won't weight 1kg each!
