I ordered some Monkeylite DH Carbon bars (the new white ones) on Tuesday from Jenson and they arrived at my door today. I'm amazed - that's quicker than a lot of UK suppliers!!!!!

Meh, if they break he can buy another set ;)
  • Was it Fedex?

Your bill for duty, taxes and Fedex charges will arrive about a week after the items. Expect to pay about 36% of what you paid for the goods. Even so, some of their stuff is still a bargain ,even with the duties. Shame they don't ship Fox forks to the Uk tho.

  • Thats excellent and I dont think you will get any warranty problems with bars.
    So Far!

I have used Aspire Velotech in the US countless times (20+)

    CK headsets (3)
    Easton bars (4 different sets)
    Thomson stems (x3)
    Thomson seatposts (x2)

The list goes on, as above some of them were larger items. I have NEVER been stung for anything other than what I paid for the goods.
  • how much was the postage from jenson as well....sounds like a bargain!
  • I've used Jenson twice and been billed for taxes and duties both tmes.

  • Don't know if I'll get taxed, but I don't much care. The bars weren't available in the UK and they arrived really quickly - that will do for me...

Postage was something like £10, but can't remember exactly.

Anyway, they're on the bike and look great, really nicely finished.

  • SO i just ordered my monkeylites too.....did you ship yours by fedex or USPS.
Ive gone Fedex as I really cant deal with Parcelforce who deliver for USPS again...make me sick those <ahem>

so, any pics of your bars yet? :-)

All depends on the company they use for deliveries picking the right company can do wonders for any business especially on the customer front whereby you have been impressed to such an extent you have posted a postive image of that company .

Which inturn others will note and use if need be
