womens clothing

Can anyone recomend some good clothing for my lovely wife,she is riding anything from 10-20 miles a day for the last 2 years and has only got one set of cheap clothing. I thought i'd treat her for xmas but im running out of time so if anyone knows of a good mail order shop or some good brands i'd be gratefull many thanks.

    I like Gore and Castelli women's ranges. (I also have some Pearl Izumi & Assos women's clothing but a lot of what I have is men's -esp winter stuff and base layers. )

    Gore have got some lovely women's jackets & jerseys at the moment - don't own one but am hoping too soon....

    Depends on what suits her. My partner has tried numerous brands and always comes back to Assos shorts/tights and jersies/jackets. She ecently bough a Castelli jkt which looks/fits superbly. If you can manage with Lusso that's fine but there is Giordana which is a step up.

    Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op do a fair range of women's kit. Evan's and Wiggle also are searchable for female kit.

    I love my Cannondale LE jersey (a soft-shell jacket) and my Gore Alpine waterproof jacket (in fact, all my Cannondale and Gore kit is good).

    Girly gloves can be hard to find, but worth looking for at this time of year. I found Altura Women's Shield gloves fit me well and are very warm (too warm in mild winter weather). Gore Bikewear Phantom Lady gloves also good (but not waterproof) in cool weather.

    Isn't your wife lucky to have such a thoughtful gift this Christmas!

    I love Polaris stuff plus they are selling their old stock at seriously discounted prices just now on ebay under the username 0utdoors_man (that's a zero instead of an O).

    Myself and friends have all bought stuff and the combined postage costs, if you buy a few items, is fab.
