I've spoken to Derek the wheelbuilder and have chosen my hubs, spokes and rims but just want some views from those that might be running IRD Cadence Aero 30mm.

Are they suited to training and the odd triathlon?

Or are the IRD Cadence Road the ones to get?

You might have more luck searching for Kinlin Niobium rims. The Cadence aero is afaik the Kinlin 30mm rim. I have a set, but I've not ridden them yet. They look fine. Not quite as pretty as my FIR rims, but a good bit lighter.

I think they are also the same rims as used on the Halo mercury wheel set? I'd also be interested in any feedback, as I'm considering building up a set of wheels based on these rims in the new year.
