Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.

I watch. If there's a thread worth replying to, then I reply. I got bored quite a while ago of the RRS and Adge baiting, which seemed to be where every thread headed to.

I now come on here more (and TBH, more and more members from UKMB seem to be turning up here) and a few other forums, not specifically related to biking. As Andy said in another thread, there's more relevant bike related chat here.

'you' do it to people you know and like/tolerate in real life. it is absolutely going to happen to a webbo of this particular variety.

tis the reason your forum gets very few new active members and some of your more established members have gone elsewhere.
  • a good troll adds value to a forum, i miss him :(

I just thought his sense of humour would have fitted in there. From my discussion with him yesterday, I don't think he's going to bother.

He was not, in any way, a good troll. Sheepsteeth is a good troll. Whyamihere is a good troll. 4XJ was rubbish. We had him wound tighter than a tweenaged nun's mimsy.
  • he was the best

forums definately need idiots and the occasional good quality troll but 4xj was too much. he just wanted to be popular and didnt know how to do it.

he just came across as a complete funktard. all of the time.

I had a good go on the old MBUK forum when I said that Steve Peat invented Downhill riding. Tens of pages later people were still biting after just one sentance in the first post

There'll be another monkey boy along soon, wasn't that long ago we were all lamenting the demise of Jesus Christ.....
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result

That gives me an idea :)
  • Naveed was a legend, with his constant rants about racism and how anyone who didnt agree with him was a racist, and anyone who didnt like him didnt like him because they were racist.

He still pops back every now and again, but dosent really have much to say for himself anymore.

I do remember one epic thred where he went off on one and got shot down in monumental fashion by Sheeps and Yehaa amongst others.

What about the dude with his fetish for Orange 5s, and his rants about how all Metas snapped like twigs. Was it grantaway or something?

grantway was like a trol who didnt realise he was a trol and as much as his posting was infuriating, i found him massively entertaining.

i really liked naveed. even if i thought, in my own opinion, that he was a bit blinkered. i liked the arguments and it was interesting to see the inner workings of his mind.
