Tragic accident? Or...

Two young males were killed riding their quad bikes along a railway line. Tragic.
But, it appears that they broke through a fence, ram raided an outdoor pursuits shop - according to staff/Police info - and then drove off with £40,000 of coats. Two others seen running away.
Well, if they hadn't done the crime, it seems as though they wouldn't have been killed.
Terrible time for all the families and particularly the train driver.
Senseless waste of lives...but we've all done "stupid" things, haven't we?

Shows a lack of forward planning on their part. Clearly they had done no training runs before doing this.
I do feel raily sorry for the train driver though.0 -
I heard they were going to service the train earlier, but they got sidetracked
I'll get me coat0 -
They deserve everything they get then, first rule of staying alive is stay the F**k off my railroad, because even if i have chance to get the anchors on the chances of me stopping in time are slim at best.
Kids playing around on the edge of platforms are the others, pretending to push each other off or jump or stick their arm out to try and get me to stop, but the fact is by the time i'd be able to react and the brake would come in, your arms a gonna sonny jim
I've had a few near misses and its not a nice feeling0 -
Guy at our antenatal classes had someone jump in front of him recently.
He's pretty f-ed up by it all. Keeps seeing the jumper in his sleep/dreams....
As for these lads, I would't say death was 'Karma', but if they hadn't been doing what they were doing......0 -
i cannot imagine what the harm it does to drivers. a guy who works with us, used to be a train driver and he has killed someone on a line not through his fault, Not a day passes and he doesnt think about it.
Getting back on point though, it is karma and they shouldnt have been on the line anyway.

Some people dont really deserve to live, I'd say theft isnt up there with assault and murder but if they are the type of people to steal so recklessly then they are probably the type to be up the town at the weekend jumping on peoples heads.
The world is a better place without some people. They dont get sympathy and their reputation wiped clean because they died. Good riddens.0 -

Yeah, but then I've never done a ram raid, stolen £40000 worth of kit, then ridden a quadbike along a railway track. So I suppose that's what makes the difference between them and me!
It's a shame, mind, especially for the other people affected but there's no shortage of things in the world to be bothered about, this wouldn't even appear in the top million.Uncompromising extremist0 -
