avid juicy 5 fitting issue

i am trying to fit avid juicy 5's to my giant stp

i am using 160 adaptors for a 160 disc but when i do them up the pad tabs hit the adaptor
have i bought the wrong adaptors ?
they are avid branded from crc and are post to is mount.

there are no washers between the frame and the adaptor
i can't put washers between the brake and the adaptor as they are post mount so therefore bolt straight onwith a bit of side to side.
i tried filpping them round but makes no odds

any help would be much appreciated as i want to use the bike this weekend

avids use mounting washers 4 pairs of concave and convex washers that HAVE to be used it ! mount them correctly and 2 give the correct spacing.

they are the same as used on V brakes if you have lost them.

Not sure which adaptor you have as you mention both IS and post mount? You do need the spacers between the mount and brake though.

i have missed out the spacers as per nick's post so i expect to have this sorted asap!
