Just listened to the album. Nothing spectacular but very chilled. I feel like I'm melting into the chair!

I take it she'd new - I'm not supposed to know who she is?

  • Not my cup of tea, it's not offensive to listen to though.

It's Regina Spektor only with, what is that, harpsichord? Instead of piano. Very nice...

Her singing sounds like that Canadian bird, you know, the one who did the video naked except for down-to-the floor hair. A wig I would guess...What was her name again?

Music sounds like higher-pitched version of Stranglers "Golden Brown".
Telling a story to music, rather than writing a song, if you see what I mean.
Not bad, but not my cup of tea.

Tony Hadley's first bought record was "Double Barrel", by Dave and Ansel Collins.
Now your talking! Reggae beat with skanking/toasting over it. Forerunner of rap, in 1970.

A bit less flatteringly but it really sounds quite a bit like Mouthwash by Kate Nash. Though without the incredibly awful lyrics obviously.
