am i the only person who thinks that the parents complaining about a pram design should try being better parents.

maybe they should spend more time looking after their children and less time being mongs.

I think Clarkson put it best on top gear the other week... blaming it on retarded Americans

obviously he should extend that statement to scallies as well.

Yeah aparently, it is only in the US where they have had this happen, even though the pram is sold internationally.

EDIT: I really must read links before posting...

its happened in the uk too, loads of (im being presumtious here of course) single mong women are suing maclaren in order to appease their sense of guilt after having injured their children by being mongs with prams.

the idea being that if its maclarens fault, they can be absolved of being complete funktards.

some erin brokovitch style lawyer who is managing the case has said it preposterous to imply that the users of the prams are at blame.

bear in mind when pretty much any pram closes, it is essence a massive pair of blunt scissors with barrels of leverage. why the funk wouldnt you keep you child at bay whilst you performed this limb risking operation??

idiots. its all your faults. your hideously disfigured children will always hate you and you should always hate yourself for what you did.
  • Strange though, we had the exact same double buggy shown in the picture in the article you linked to there (ours was grey and black instead of red).
Despite this, both of my children still have all their fingers and toes. We must be one of the lucky ones I guess.
I think that rather than getting any money out of it, these people should have their kids taken off them as they are cleary too retarded to look after their kids properly anyway.

agreed. it shouldnt be difficult to understand what happens when you have no control of your children around mechanical objects. (especially if you dont have a husband to worry about leaving you more time to look after your offspring)

it can all be mitigated with proper parenting. id have got such a battering if id got my fingers chopped off through the careless actions of my parents when i were a lad.

I run my little `un around in a Maclaren buggy.

You`d have to be a complete muppet to chop your kids fingers off. (Or American it would seem  )

Personel responsibility - what the fu@k happened to that.

We have got 2 kids & god knows how many prams and as far as I am aware they kids have still got all of their fingers
  • My child opened the window in her bedroom and fell out of it, I'm now going to sue the window manufacturers for making windows that open and not warning me that my children might fall out if I leave them unlocked while I'm downstairs drinking cider and watching Trisha.
  • I couldn't be that some money grabbing single mong up to the eyeballs on benefits saw the American cases (assuming she could read) and decided "I'll have some of that cash thanks" ??or am I just being cynical.

What i find hard to understand is what is the kid doing in the pram when it is being opened or closed? Or is this happening when one set of wheels leaves the ground and the wornout buggy flexes that much that fingers get chomped off?

  • Also when I was a child I shut my thumb in a car door, I now realised that this has caused deep emotional distress and my thumb occassionally develops a slight twinge on a full moon if it's cold. I'm am now taking legal action against Ford for making cars with doors that open - clearly a shocking and dangerous design!!

god damn it! you beat me to it!

i agree with everything that's been said. we've got two kids, and i was surprised to learn that they're largely our responsibility!

fortunately, they still have all they're fingers, thanks in no small part to us keep an eye on them from time-to-time...

I think we should really be worrying about beds. Did you know 2/3 of all deaths happen in a bed. I am going to sleep huddled in the corner of the bedroom in future that bed wont get me.

Slightly at a tangent as I often go, I always rememmber this

Last year there were 35,000 deaths caused by drinking alcohol
    15,000 deaths caused by driving
how many from drink driving? 1000, all I'm saying officer is that I wasn't prepared to take that kind of risk

and only 2 deaths from drinking driving and juggling, well its not completely safe
