I run two or three depending on set up, but I am temped to go full on Mod style mainly to get drivers to see my when I'm on the road getting to and from local trails.

Why are MTB economics; spend twice as much as you intended, but only half as much as you wish you could afford?

not a bad idea tbh... but could create some bad shadows on the trails!

Have seen an MTBer with three of the same light on his bike, one on the bars and on on each of the barends. Saw a girl on her bike with red leds on anklestraps on her knees pointing forward. Myself, I run 2 Tesco torches and a Topeak led on flash on the front and the rear has an old Cateye led, Mars 3.0 and another Cateye safety light swinging on my bag.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Watching this clueless buffoon make an ar$e of myself out on the trails. PRICELESS! :D

2 on teh back of mine and one on my bag. Plus a flasher and a torch on the front. Spreading them out's better than adding more side by side, by the way, 2 lights a metre apart is much more visible than 3 lights all together.
