I recently bought a 456 frame off the interweb . It was described as a summer season which tied in with the clear laquer finish. Only thing is it doesn't have an isg mount on the bottom bracket . Did they ever produce them without the mount or do I have an plain old 456 ? Don't mind though cause I luv, not like, this bike. My pimped out reign has been sitting in the corner for the last two months now.

did ou get it from on-one?
The current SS has ISCG. The standard 456 doesn't..... IIRC.0 -
Nope off fleabay but it looked brand new, not a mark on it . It wasn't even starting to rust at the welds or other tube junctions so it isn't old / used in the rain .I'm sure the guy was offering it for sale on here as well in case anyone saw it.0

The earlier SSs didn't have it, I think. Then some had one with slightly iffy tabs. Then, they got it rightUncompromising extremist0

And it's not a 456 if it's got a clear lacquer finish, it's a Summer Season.
the 456 and Summer Season were separate models built (or at least imported by) On One.0 -
Strange that on-one themselves call the summer season a "456 summer season" on their own website:

but hey what do they know?
And whats even more confusing is my 456 summer season says inbred on the frame:http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7231/6933696372_603c9ce220_b.jpg

lol dont worry about it, i dont get it either. Mine doesnt say 456 or summer season anywhere on the frame but it is the raw finish so, as far as i know they didnt do any other frames in that finish, it must be what it said on the tin.
Oh and we are going to verbier in January, so as soon as we arrive on the high street i'm going to throw my bags down and say the immortal line you just muttered. None of our group are racing us there in a ferrari though unfortunately....http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7231/6933696372_603c9ce220_b.jpg
