  • "Listening to i-pods". This is open to debate but is not against the law and the only time i've proper come a croper (rhymes 8) ) Is when i didn't have earphones in  And no i don't go through re lights/ride on pavements. In fact i rarely filter unless i know it's definately clear the other way, not worth the risk IMO
  • PS didn't read the entire article, biggest load of b0llox i've ever seen

There's a lot of talk of cycling while listening to ipods. It's one of the staples of reckless cycling. Could I sneak by un-noticed and un-fined with my non-ipod MP3 player? :P

I fully agree that cyclists who kill or seriously injure the occupants of cars they crash into should be hit with the full force of the law.

    No, thanx for asking.
Don't get me started on what should be done to bike thieves...
Actually what really galls me (apart from the ridiculous chain of events that wound up in all our bikes being on the back of the car unlocked) is that they probably didn't nick my bike cos it's a masterpiece of form and function in glorious carbon fibre, it was just an opportunist thing. But after tracking it through the park, I've almost got grudging respect for whoever managed to ride it down a steep hill and through the woods, clipless pedals and all.

The dozy woman is currently being bombarded with FOI requests for her to validate her claims about dozens of rosy-cheeked pensioners mown down by cyclists.

I've no problem with nobby cyclists getting fined - its never going to be me - so its not my concern. And the more police that are out on the roads - the more chance there is that they'll see the nobby drivers acting like maniacs.

We cant complain about drivers acting dangerously and then ride all over the pavements and ignore red traffic lights. (in my experience - this seems to be the newer cyclists who have no clue what they should/shouldnt be doing)
