I am currently looking to get some form of bike insurance. I was involved in an accident with a car, the car stopped and as it wasn’t my fault his insurance company sorted out my claim for a new bike. As it was few months ago it has got me thinking my bike is insured under my house insurance if its been stolen but not if I have a accident outside the house it wont be.
I know most people would stop and hold their hands up if it was their fault but I don’t want to be in that situation if they don’t or I hit someone and they sue me.

Does anyone know of any good insurance companies I can use?

    Join the CTC. Membership is less than the premium for cycle insurance and you get 3rd party cover by default.
