Public or private, evidense or not, what party do you wish you had gone to? I'll start off with this one

I would have liked to have been at Nellcote villa , South of France in the summer of 70 or 71 when the Rolling Stones based themselves there, recording Exile on Main Street. It would have been a hedonistic summer.

An Anne summers party of my friends hosted last week.

Wish I could have gone to the houseparty tonight actually, nothing special, but I've not been out in weeks and desperately want to release some energy....

Or the Playboy mansion on the US tour for that album when the band played the LA shows and it was open house for about 4 nights (any Playboy mansion party might be OK tho' )

Forgive my Secondary education but I always thought that "too" was used for when something was excessive and locations were "to"

Read the Robert Greenfield book 'Stones Across America' about the 1972 tour which was one long party involving strippers,playboy bunnies,groupies,hangers-on, dealers erc. All the stuff you've dreamed of but never thought would happen. All a bit cliched now, but back then the likes of The Who, Zeppelin etc were living it large AND getting rich. The trick was to survive it and keep what you made. Gene $immons from Kiss is prob. one of the best examples of how to have it all and keep it

Mild understatement there - even Gram Parsons (no lightweight in the ingestion of narcotics) allegedly had to be bundled onto a jet and sent home as he was in such a bad way. Would have been great though; Exile was my soundtrack on holiday in Nice last year.
