Worth looking at Merlin Cycles as they always have good prices for parts.

Not necesssarily. They sell good stuff, sometimes at very good prices. My experience about dealing with them has been quite positive.

A couple of minor complaints:

1) It would be nice if they accepted credit cards in addition to paypal and advance bank payments.
2) You need to know/guess some Dutch language in order to do business with them.

I have used Math Salden many times as,of course i live in the Netherlands. They are very good, excellent delivery times and good service. They are as good as anybody i deal with on the web. By the way if anybody has difficulty understanding the Dutch website or needs anything Dutch translating then PM me, no problem.Also another good bike shop is www.vosfietsen.nl in Amsterdam. They have some great deals on frames and bikes. Well worth a visit if you are in Amsterdam.

They have had problems in the past with stolen cards. The shop is in the South of the Netherlands fairly close to the Belgian and German borders. They have been ripped off on a number of occasions. Shame, because those people spoil it for the rest of us.

It's worth e-mailing them to check what's going on. Maybe they're experiencing high demand of the wheels... I know a few people who have ordered or are planning to order those wheels from Salden.

Emailed them yesterday, they responded saying they had just posted it. Doh!

my wheels arrived yesterday, 2 days after i emailed asking where they were. they hadn't actually sent them until i emailed though!

Ordered my Ultegra SL last Sunday and it arrived today. Price including shipping £418

I will definitely shop there again

Shipping was a mere €10. No UK tax can be imposed as the Netherlands are in the EU

Math Salden really is a good shop. Look at the Kaymann Korting section of the website. They can get almost any make of frame for the best price on the net, just mail them your requirements and they will get back to you.

Can you explain this Kaymann Korting in detail? Google translator doesn't translate the explanation very well.

This is used exclusively by MathSalden and the idea is that you email them with the frame or bike that you require and give them an indication of the r.r.p that the frame or bike is offered at either online or your LBS. Math Salden will then look for this bike or frame and if possible import it via the Cayman Islands without having to pay VAT +5% discount if you click on the link at the top of this page http://www.salden.nl/default.asp?pid=2049 and then this link

put my fulcrum racing one fromt wheel on today, it looks the shizzle. not got the kit to do the rear until my mate lends me it though so just the one on for now.
