Just got back from trying to do my weekly route around the forrest at thetford/brandon parks but the forrestry commision have started felling the trees its like somthing out off a war zone in vietnam.
Does any one know what they will do about all the routes they have destroyed do they have a duty of care to replenish these routes or make others

There's talk of this on the Timber forum.

Sorry, haven't read it all myself yet, but here's a link.

Is it worth going this weekend you think? Not been for a while but the weather seems it might hold up so thought about going back for a blast.

Dont want to go if half the trails are impassable or whatever.
  • if you park at brandon you will be suprised when you cross into the woods after that its ok then round near madgets pit its all been cut down if iwe dont get much rain tll the weekend will be ok in bits if you match some of the red with the black but you will get dirty,
