Everyone's favourite ex-United greaseball is even more of an arse at Real Madrid than he was at OT.

With 10 minutes left against Almeira, score at 2-2, first of all he dives for a penalty, then does one of those cocky start-stop-start run ups before taking a shite penalty that the keeper parries out to Benzema who puts it away.

Three minutes later, with Almeira (not the greatest side in the world) pushing everyone forward to try to pull back the advantage CR had got by cheating, he manages to score unmarked from 6 yards out with the keeper caught out on the other side of the goal, and celebrates as if he's just won the world cup.

Two minutes later gets himself sent off for kicking out at a defender.

Is there any more detestable professional top level footballer anywhere in the world today?

Sorry, had to get that one of my chest, my step-dad's away for the weekend and I have no males to vent my anger in the house.

Joey Barton - A kingsize tw@t with truly mammoth moments of idiocy scattered all the way through his sorry career.

Agreed. He's a complete bell end. Has the talent to make defenders look silly but more often takes the easy and deceitful option. You don't see Messi going to ground even when numerous defenders are trying to kick lumps out of him.
  • I thought thet they looked like a better team when he was injured after the 'curse' was out on him, but there is no denying that currently he is the best in the world, messi is not quite firing as he did last season

Think it was Top gear that said you should shot footballers who roll on the floor in angony, to put them out of their missery.

Just need to do it a couple of times and they should all get the message!
  • Rio Ferdinand: everything that is wrong with modern football.

Steven Gerrard: for pure sanctimonious hypocrisy. He drives me beserk.

    Rooney

Just how much abuse does he have to hurl at referees before being punished

    Great player though
