Just intrigued by your last picture - where do you ride? I want to say that was taken in the New Forest, or around the deepcut training areas, but I might be comletely wrong!0 -

Fair enough! its a good forest for riding in btw, only been twice so far so haven't found much of the single track yet, but there's meant to be some good stuff in there, somewhere.0 -

Got some new bits for my bike!
FSA K-force Carbon Flat Bars
Charge Spoon Saddle
Kore Race 6061 4-Bolt Forged Stem
Lizard Skins Charger Lock On Grips
Hopefully looking to upgrade a few more bits in the near future, next big thing is probably going to be forks. Looking at getting some Rockshox SID's/Rebas in white, but seen as i'm a student I don't have much money!0 -
liking the upgrades mate. didnt get to see them before you went back down to btown.0

New forks!!!
Rockshox SID race 2010
And then with the nice orange decals fitted to match the frame, I'm really pleased with how well they go tbh!
(I forgot to put the saddle back up to usual height in this one which is why it looks a bit odd)

Once I have sold my old forks, going to get some white m520's and some shoes to go with them. Then next thing maybe some new brakes, might go for the same as you jay. Then in the long run might swap out the frame for a Maxlight xc pro 2/3, but we will have to see on that one!0

jay12 wrote:cool. you won't be dissapointed with either. the brakes are amazing, best i'v had so far, and kinesis frames are awesome. mine is very light and it's for "hardcore" use where as the xc frames are even lighter. their new km810 carbon frame is very nice but it cost a grand
Yeah the km810 is gorgeous, bit out of my price range at the moment though! The new xc pro 3 is a stunner as well, that's probably more in my price range (but not at the moment, i'm skint after buying them forks!)0 -
Very nice!! The new forks look sweet, is it a steel hardtail or alu? I'd love me a nice orange p7 one day.0

It is a steel hardtail. Took it on a 25 mile ride today, I am loving how it rides now! The new forks are just utterly brilliant.0 -

What do you think of the sids?
Yeah the sids are great so far, handle the small bumps really well, so much smoother than my toras. Hopefully going to cannock tomorrow, so will give them there first real test of a trail centre!0
