Tights for long legs!

Hi,

first post so be gentle! I've just got back into cycling after a very long break and now the weather is cold need to find myself some tights to keep warm during the winter.

The problem is that I'm tall, (90cm+ inside leg) and the tights I've been looking at expect me to have a huge waist. Using Gore as an example, the XL size suggests an 87 cm inside leg, and an 39 inch waist (mine is 36) Any tips on tights for the longer legged chap, or can I take the waist size with a pinch of salt.

    I have some dhb merston tights and they are faaaar too long in the leg so might be worth a try!

    Brass i am 6ft 5 tall and have used Santini XXL tights for winter i am a 38 inside leg.....GB Cycles stock santini.

    +1 for the Merston's. Mine fit great except the legs are about an inch too long.

    94cm inside leg here, 186cm overall, 32" waist. All my tights - Santini, Giordana, and Nalini - are sized in large and fit me perfectly. Ignore the waist size, it really isn't that critical on bibs, height is the key determinant of fit. I recommend dropping Prendas a line for Santini - they're really helpful with sizing questions.
