Downing at a GT

Just saw on the Tour Down Under thread that Downing has been announced for Sky, got me to thinking it would be great to see him in one of the Grand Tours this year, do you think he'll get a ride in any?

    I hope Downing does well, does a GT...it would be very good for the top premier calendar riders to see that transition from UK racing to pro tour can be done in one jump

    I don't see why he can't do the Giro or Vuelta. But we don't know if he's the one day type or a stage racer. A waste that he won't know until he's in his thirties but nevermind.
