On yesterday morning's commute I noticed a Ghost Bike has been chained to railings in Gloucester Avenue, Primrose Hill (the main LT-designated cycle route from Hampstead/Swiss Cottage etc to the City) - it's just as the road crosses the bridge over the canal that leads to Camden Lock.

Does anyone know the story behind it? It's only appeared in the last few days.

The site is right on a bend in the road that occurs just as the road rises to cross the bridge. I've seen many a car driving along at very high speed as they approach the bridge and almost getting airborne (whilst also having to deal with a bend in the road upon 'landing'). Every month or so the metal fence and low brick wall is having to be repaired as a result of, what I assume to have been, an out of control driver.

I hope a rider didn't happen to be riding there when one of these incidents happened. :(
