Accident on the Upper Richmond Road, 3rd Dec

Anyone have details? Major police attendence c.0700 this morning between Priory Lane and Roehampton Lane. The road was closed off in both directions and what looked like a tent errected by the side of the road. Police weren't saying anything and it did not look like a happy scene. Hope that it wasn't as serious as it looked. Heading East, the cycle lane can be a bit dicey.

Bit later saw the aftermath of a scooter having been taken out on the King's Road. Not a good morning.

God, that explains the obscene and completely out of character traffic at 9.30am - what an awful thing to happen.

The driver stopped after the accident.

Read the BBC story and it struck me how dreadful a situation we have when it is newsworthy to report the above line.
