It's hard to find reviews for the likes of Pearson, Condor or other small manufacturers.

Whats the view on these type of frames. How do they compare to the big name manufacturers?

Both Pearson and Condor aren't manufacturers, but are shops that sell a range of own-branded bikes, often very similar to bigger branded bikes. Condor source a lot of their frames from Italy, but expect their carbon frames like virtually everyone else's come from Taiwan. These days, it's actually pretty difficult to find a 'duff' bike and the big advantage of these own-branded bikes is the ability to totally customise the build - often impossible with the big brands unless you buy a frame only and supply the parts. If you have a particular esoteric taste in parts or specification they are a great idea and the shops are run by enthusiasts - Guy Pearson for example is still racing. You may be able to find some reviews or posts on London Cycle Sport.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
