Revelations on a Rockhopper

I have a rockhopper from 2005 or 6 can't remember.
However since moving to Sheffield it is inadequate so am getting a mmmbop hopefully, (I plan to race it) but as I have no money I'm in the stage of just buying parts.
Just got some revelation u-turns with maxle and the minimum travel is 110mm.
My frame is designed around 80 or 100mm so will it break my frame? Or could I just run extra sag to compensate?
As I have already bought them I figured 10mm is not going to kill it but good to get some actual advice

if it's for 100mm, 110mm will be fine as you can have 10% extra travel for what the frame can handle0

Not sure on this, but it could void the warranty for the frame as well if you run them. Although I would check the manufactures website or the manual, but I don't see why not if you ran them with 10% sag.0

warranty would already have run out by now! its 2005/60 -
Well considering my weight tehy run at about 5% sag
Good point though the warranty was not what I was worried about, just my teeth. Don't want to lose more.
Well the dentist took out 4 but I could do with keeping the rest0
