France to Spain

There are 5 of us riding from Abergavenny Wales to Panticosa Pyrenees Spain in june next year Portsmouth Le Havre Ferry down to Le Mans Crossing the Pyrenees at the Col de Portalet.     I see your planning to take part in the Quebrantahuesos event with up to 8 thousand other cyclists!

    On my tour of Spain I camped at Escarrilla and cycled up to the Puerto de Portalet - very impressive scenery, and then up to the spa - Balneario de Panticosa with its thermal baths. The viewing platform at the Hoz de Jaca is also worth standing on. You should try and visit the Ordesa National Park - Spain's Grand Canyon - access at Torla .
    The more you spend - the faster you go - the less you see.
