Ok people.

Im up for a set of clothing... have made do so far with a "cheap" and cheerful Aldi top (warm and does the job)

now its getting colder and wetter im debating buying a jacket and some form of legwear...

now i have decided on a Laser 1 top, as they are only £15 at the moment... (and water proof... ) but am open to alternatives if im making a mistake here...

Bottoms... always riden in trousers (hate mud and water on bare legs... wierd as that sounds) but am willing ot give it a go this winter... so suggestions for bottoms would be great. and waterproof socks :D

PS, im a complete Newbie to mtbing. and will be taking part in the Winter challenge at Erlestoke on Jan 3rd so need something for that.

Still using my original Laser. Water sluices off it, it layers up nicely and it's inexpensive enough to not care if it gets dirty. Think I've washed it twice in over a year

TK Maxx have some decent multisport kit as well.

I am back into the scene with almost no gear and went out last week with

    Altura Night Vision Evo Jacket
    Badu Armour base layer
    Enduro waterproof gloves
    Enduro shorts
Pair of old long bib tights
    Pair of Porelle waterproof socks

Went up Llandegla in 3C and was plenty warm and dry after a couple of hours. Damp arse as no waterproofing or mudguard.
