...underneath my desk to dry my clothes out.
I left my shorts, bib-longs and jacket hanging in the locker room but brought my shoes / socks / gloves / overshoes to my desk because they were absolutely drenched following this mornings 19 miler to work in the heaviest rain I've cycled in for over a year.
I've rigged up my fan underneath the desk and everything is just about dry, trouble is I'm sitting here with my coat on because of all the cold air blowing around my legs!!! Bloody freezin!

Erm.... do you share an office? Does anyone else ever come into your office ever?0

It's an open plan office, I share a 'pen' with 4 others...the pen is viewable to all that pass, and it's a large organisation. Was you're question in relation to why under the desk? I'm open to other options that won't draw too much attention!0

get yourself to somewhere like Robert Dyas and buy a fan....or borrow your bosses like I have. I have a lovely warm camp under my desk

this one's only £9.990 -
I'll try and get a pic of my heater at work. It's an industrial oil fired warehouse heater. It can blow the drying rack off the wall when the nozzles are pointing directly at it, and dries my bibtights and soaking wet baselayer in about 10 minutes. If I put it on for a blast before I get changed at the end of the day I get to put a toasty warm chamoix next to my delicate boy bits too0

To all of the above with your heaters.....
Does this arrangement not make your office(s) ming more than ming himself??0 -
Not mine, but i've got a massive roller door next to where I hang my kit, and the warehouse is pretty massive too, so it would take a stinkier boy than me to make a noticeable ming in there.
The only downside is that it's f&cking FREEZING in there at the moment when having to work in there. The little officey bit where I sit is nice and snuggly though.0 -
I sometimes wonder about this, but then realise that the smell isn't coming from *my* clothes.
With a 20% reduction in headcount this year there are plenty of spaces. Not Good.0 -
