I've entered next years Isle of Man End to End Race and I am not 100% sure what to expect.

Anyone out there done this race before? If so got any tips and advice?

  • Train for 4 big barsteward hills over a 40 mile blast across the length of an very hilly island
  • If you're not a racing whippet, practise pushing your bike up lots of barsteward hills over a 40 mile blast across the length of a very hilly island ;)

On a serious note, just practise a lot. It's great fun and you'll meet some brilliant folk each encouraging everyone else on. I had to walk the last 12 miles due to a knee injury, but everyone wished me well and asked if I was ok for everyone that passed me. I loved it and think I will be going again next year, will have to organise something.
