Hi all,
I'm doing the coast to coast next year for charity. There's be a few of us doing it. I know you can buy the map etc, but does anybody have any recommendations of the most interesting routes, where to stay etc.. looking to do it over 3 days.
Cheers all.

I'd recommend finishing in Newcastle rather than Sunderland. Having tried both, I felt that the Newcastle route was more pleasant.0

Did it last easter but it was 4 days
Day1 Whitehaven - Pooley Bridge but satyed at school's own place so that doesntt help
Day2 - Pooley Bridge - Nenthead Stayed in a nice bunkhouse which all 10 of us stayed in
Day 3 Nenthead - Consett Stayed in the COMEDY YMCA
Day 4 Consett - Tynemouth
I'd recommend Whitehaven - Tynemouth rather than Workington and Sunderland, mainly because its more scenic and less rough :P0 -

Hi Michael
I am also doing it next year for charity. I have an six page artice from MBR 2007 if you want to borrow it. There are loads of different routes to do it but you can do it in three days, it just depends which route you take.
I have details of all the B & B's aswell.
