Warmer Longs

Quite new to road biking and for mtbiking my endura MT500 longs have always been fine for when it gets a bit chillier. I went out on quite a long ride today and found it quite hard to warm up properly (even after 30+ miles I felt that my legs muscles werent heated up properly). It was very cold today with mad head winds and driving rain/sleet/hailstones.

So, decent lined padded longs/bib recommendations please? Not interested in DHB as I think the ankle zip on them isnt very good.

After having a look around I think I am going to buy the Caastelli Fulmine wind padded bib tights.
