Has anybody been to whinlatter when its a little frosty?

was up on the weekend, loads of ice - no problem, just pay attention
Whinlatter rocks, i think it is one of the more underated trail centres.
Love it.

I did Whinlatter straight after some very heavy rain. Although I rode Moo cross in my youth, I'm now a timid old guy and mainly a roadie to boot. And it was fine for me.
I rate Whinlatter very highly. However, be awre that Dumfries is only another half hour driving and from there you have Ae, Mabie and Dalbeattie all within 10 miles, make for a great weekend. Dalbeatties is especially well drained when wet .(but I imagine lethanl if icy )Sportives and tours, 100% for charity, http://www.tearfundcycling.btck.co.uk0
