Can't believe a year has passed already, but tomorrow (28th Nov) is the first anniversary of Mark's (aka TheGreatGatsby) death whilst riding home from work.

Will have a quiet moment on tomorrow's ride to think of his tragic loss. Keep safe on the roads everyone.

Shit.
Didn't hear about it the first time.
I met him when he was working as a chef for Ticket2Ride in Whistler. Best flapjack I've ever had, and the rest of his food was pretty damn good too (as was Ellie's). It was the fortnight when he got that tattoo on his right arm done.
Impressed/terrified me with his dedication - up at 3am every morning to go out training before orgainsing our brekkie.
RIP. May the climbs be steep and the descents flat out.

A good thread Bronzie, thanks.
I'll have a quiet moment thinking about Mark tomorrow. His passion for cycling shone through and I'm sure he's missed by many.0 -
On a similar note, any news on gentleman Ken Night?0
