O.S maps

Hi, can anyone tell me where i can get O.S maps of my area (county durham/consett/dales) or anywhere i could make one to my specification?

WH Smiths any decent bookshop, outdoor shop, and I think you can order custom maps off the OS website

I didn't think of WHsmiths, i will try there. I tried the main website but they dont give you much of an area to play with so i would need a few separate ones... they are 15 quid each...

I use http://www.bikehike.co.uk/mapview.php to get just the section(s) I want and then print them out.
