Stans tubeless conversion confusion...

Converted my rims ghetto style and so far they seem ok, however at some point I'm hoping to buy some 355's on pro 2 SP hubs. Now some people seem to just use the yellow rim tape and a valve to run tubeless - how do they deal the valve? Do you add tape over the top ( like I did on my ghetto). Then some people use the rubber stripwith a built in valve - how does this improve things? Surely the tyre still seats in the same position?

The valve has a rubber seal which seals the valve hole. Rimstrips just provide a more secure tyre fit to prevent burping. I'm just using the yellow tape, valve and normal tyres with sealant. No issues with burping at all, no punctures either - obviously!Scott Scale Custom

Same here. There doesn't seem much point in using the rim tape if you have Stans rims.0
