recommend a semi intergrated head set for a giant stp

as per the above title i am looking for a semi intergrated head set for my giant stp build.
it's an 08 frame and will be used with rock shox argyle forks.
i am hoping to keep it between £25-35

FSA Z orbit. Check the dimensions though.

Semi Integrated isn't really type of headset.

sonic why is it not semi intergrated?
i thought there was normal which has traditional cups with bearings on the outside
intergrated which has bearings which run on races directly on the frame
semi which have cups which sit inside the head tube along with the bearings

i'm not being arguementative i'd just like to increase my knowledge

thats the one! no idea why they have the white one at double the price though! both were the same price int he lbs!!!

i'd go for a black one anyway it goes with my colour scheme better and certainly is more in keeping with my wallet streamlining plan

Manufacturers use the 'semi integrated' term interchangebly with a few standads which confuses issues.

I prefer the term Internal Headset for the ones with shallow cups.

I was in the same boat as you but based on this thread I went with the Z - didn't think I'd notice any benefit by spending the extra £30 for the 1

Isn't wna a standard headset, and the other ZeroStack? (internal?)

the one thats in there is not exactly worn although missing the crown race but while the bikes in bits i want to change it.
