Front Mech - Too much tension........
Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right section, but i've been changing my drop bars to flats.
I currently have a Shimano STR224 shifter and an FDR443 front mech, but I'm having real trouble setting it up.
There is just so much tension on the cable and thus making the lever really hard to push in order to move the front mech.
It's as if the ratios are wrong, or I'm doing something fundamentally wrong.
Any thoughts anyone?
Thanks,
Pat....

Yep, it's easy to try to adjust the front mech and put way too much tension in. Loosen it off totally and start again, using this guide:

Cheer bud,
Will try again tomorrow.
Might be a good idea for me to start at the beginning.
