I would like to take my bike on adventures further afield but my other mode of transport is my 2007 Mini Cooper.

Can anyone suggest a suitable rack?

My bike is a 2006 Commencal Combi Disc.

Thanks.

Saris bones will go on a new mini. A mate of mine as one. works fine.

Personally I'd go with a tow hitch one, but tow hitches can be pricey to fit (dunno for a mini, I was quoted >500 for my Alfa) and a tow hitch on a mini would look a bit daft.

Personally not a fan of rooftop carriers, mostly due to fuel use (although only a bother if you're regularly transporting long distance I suppose)

I will look at the Saris Bones and tow hitch options because I don't feel confident (I'm female) lifting my bike onto the roof.
