5:10s or SPD compatible shoes. (currently some Lake ones)."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

5.10s with MG1 pedals.Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"0

Specialized Sport MTB, previously Nike Katto's but sole in one gave way after a couple of years. Give SPD's a go, I used to think the same0

Random old Vans I've had for a decade . Bricks, I think they are, or Brick 2s. They do the job... I have a pair of 5 10 Basics as well but though they're grippier, I don't think the Vans lack grip, and the 5 10s are just not as nicely put together so I wear the Vans most of the time for their comfort and off-bike manners.Uncompromising extremist0

always cycling shoes with cleats
riding with anything else is hard work0 -
On flats - Specialized Tahos with cleats taken off.
On SPDs - same as above with cleats on.
Can be walked in, grip well, look okay - love them.0 -
Good old pair of Vans.
Wish they did a more water proof/resistant version lol0 -

Nike 6.0
There is always a cool pair in the sale at my local shop for about £25.
Beefy, comfy and grippy. Plus I can just bin them when they start to smell of damp constantly!0 -
my wrecked 5:10 impact lows, will soon be rplaced by some 5:10 freeriders0

I have a couple of pairs of these:

They're cheap, comfy and pretty solid, with good grip on flat pedals. A couple of pairs so it doesn't matter if one gets wet...0 -
Maz Bomber shoes with V8's does the job"If I Was Falling, YOU BETTER FREAKING CATCH ME!!!"
