They have been built in black as well but white shows off the body style to it's best effect, it looks waaayy better in the flesh too...............oh and the exhaust note has to be heard to be believed!!!

Nice but at £350,000 i think i'll pass lol
Especially when you can get a nissan GTR for £60ish ok i know totally different cars but value for money the GTR is way ahead ! and even the V10 R8 comes just over £100k still better value imo ?

We've already sold four of our allocated ten for the UK and I think the residules may be a tad better than your averedge Nissan seeing as there'll only 500 ever built..........and yes I agree it's fooking expensive but full carbon fibre bodies, carbon ceramic brakes, 5.0 litre V10 dry sump engines and such like don't come cheap.

If you want something cheaper from Toyota you'll have to wait a year or two for this:

I have driven the 300ZX - a mate had one for ages. Capable and quick but very early 90s.

Hope Toyota do another decent car - their range is SO dull (Lexus doesn't count). Another MR2 or Supra would be good.

Sorry, should have said.......I work for Toyota GB as a technical adviser so when I say we I mean the royal we as in Toyota.

Quite agree about the MR2/Celica thing but it's all about saving the planet with Toyota at the moment!!

RAZER - That's the one I was talking about above with the USB download port, when it comes to Europe it won't be as spicy as the Jap spec version as it will have to conform to the Euro 5 emmission regs laid out by the mussel munchers in Brussels so won't have as much oomph!!

Yeah, i just noticed that your link was for the FT concept.

it certainly looks like they've toned down the production model compared to the concept car (as is the case with pretty much all manufacturers). But in saying that, they've still made a very nice looking car.

Its a pity that the engine will have to be modded to adhere to the emission regs, but hopefully it should still have a bit of poke.

that aygo crazy has around 200bhp does it not? In a car that small it would certainly be an interesting drive

there is one aspect of performance that the gtr does beat the lfa, 0-60mph. 3.3 roughly for the gtr and 3.7 for the lfa. But that is solely down to the 4wd the gtr has.

They are two completely different cars and are catering for completely different markets. Not really two cars you can compare
